While most incidences of bleeding are not life-threatening, more serious cases require proper first aid and urgent medical assistance. It’s important you know the steps to controlling blood loss.

Presented by North Huntingdon EMS/Rescue. The purpose of the Stop the Bleed Campaign is to prepare the public to save lives by raising awareness of basic actions to stop life threatening bleeding following everyday emergencies and man-made and natural disasters. Participants will learn bleeding control techniques that include use of commercial and improvised tourniquets and wound packing.
