Author Jennifer Sopko “Idlewild: History and Memories from America’s Oldest Amusement Park

From its origins as a Mellon family gambit to boost traffic on the Ligonier Valley Rail Road, through the difficult and turbulent times of the Great Depression, to the family friendly amusement and water park that it has become, Idlewild Park has seen it all.
