Accessing Ancestry from Home

Ancestry.com is now allowing access for Norwin Public Library patrons from their homes.

Accessing the site is a little different from our other databases, but with a Norwin Public Library card, you should be fine!

Clicking on the link at the bottom of this page will take you directly to the sign-in page, but first, here’s quick rundown of what to expect. After you click the link, you’ll be forwarded to the library catalog “E-Source” page.

The first thing you’ll need to do is click on the “Ancestry (Login required)” link.

Next, you’ll have to enter your library card number and your password. Your password is the last four digits of your PHONE number. Then click on the “Log In” button.

Finally, you’ll have to click on “Ancestry” one last time to be directed to the site. Once there, you should have complete access to Ancestry.com library edition.
